Zettl Earns Final Weekly Honorable Mention

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic men's soccer senior Sebastian Zettl has been named as an American Conference Weekly Honorable Mention for the final week of the regular season.
Zettl returned from injury on Wednesday against USF and made an immediate impact in just 24 minutes of second half action. The Austrian delivered the free kick that was redirected home by Aboubacar Traore to tie the game 3-3. With 15 seconds left in the match, he connected on a shot from outside the box that beat the keeper and gave the Owls a dramatic 4-3 victory.
The Owls drew with Tulsa 0-0 on Sunday night to claim a share of the American Conference regular season title. They will face either USF or Tulsa in the semifinals on Wednesday, November 12, at 3:30 p.m. in Charlotte, N.C.
