A LOOK AT THE OWLS
- Florida Atlantic enters Monday's contest at 2-2 on the season, coming off a hard-fought 70-63 defeat on the road at South Alabama.
- As a team, the Owls lead the American and rank 32nd nationally in 3-point percentage (.380), FAU also ranks second in the conference in 3-pointers per game (7.5), third in bench points per game (30.0), field goal percentage (.435), fewest fouls per game (19.0), and free throw attempts per game (23.5), fourth in free throws made per game (16.0), and fifth in scoring defense (65.8), steals per game (10.), and winning percentage (.500).

- The Gators are led offensively by Liv McGill, Me'arah O'neal, and Laila Reynolds. McGill boasts a team-best 26.0 points per game, while O'neal and Reynolds follow behind at 16.3 and 15.5 points per game, respectively.
- McGill also leads Florida in assists and steals, tallying 6.8 assists and 4.8 steals per game this season.
- O'neal paces the Gators in the boards, recording 9.0 rebounds per game, in addition to leading the team in blocks, denying 1.5 per contest.
SERIES HISTORY
- Monday's matchup marks the 10thall-time meeting between Florida Atlantic and Florida. The Gators hold the all-time series lead at 8-1. In Boca Raton, the Gators hold the slight 2-1 series advantage. The Owls will look to snap a five-game skid against the Gators, which includes an 82-54 defeat during last season's season opener on Nov. 4, 2024, in Gainesville. - Florida Atlantic also outshot South Alabama from 3-point range, 33.3 percent to 29.4 percent, and at the line, 82.8 percent to 72.4 percent, while also holding an advantage in fast break points, outscoring USA 18-11 in transition.
