BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic women's tennis team is set to travel to Miami to compete in the FIU Invitational from Friday, Jan. 10, to Saturday, Jan.11, where they will compete against Missouri and DePaul.
The Owls' last matchup with Missouri in 2022 ended with Florida Atlantic claiming a 4-3 victory. Their last meeting with DePaul was February 2024, when the Owls won 4-0. DePaul holds the all-time series at 4-2.
Based on fall play, the Owls are led in singles matches by Victoria Gomez O'Hayon, who currently tallied four victories, advanced to the finals in one tournament, and was the No. 1 seed at the 2024 American Athletic Conference Individual Championship. Senior Millie-Mae Matthews leads the team in doubles play with a 5-2 record.
