BOCA RATON, Fla. – Preseason recognition continues to flow in for the Florida Atlantic softball team, with junior third baseman
Jesiana Mora being named as a member of the D1 Softball D100 Preseason Player Rankings. The list, which names the top 100 players in the sport, has Mora ranked at No. 94.
As a sophomore, Mora helped lead the Owls to winning the American Athletic Conference regular season championship in the first season in their new league. She received AAC Second Team All-Conference and NFCA DI All-Region Second Team honors and was first on the team in batting average (.393) and hits (66), also recording 42 runs, 45 RBI, and 26 walks.
In her career, she has a .343 batting average with 118 hits to go along with 71 runs and 68 RBI. Defensively, Mora has tallied 136 total putouts with 174 assists.
The Owls will open their 2025 season on Feb. 6, hosting the Paradise Classic on Joan Joyce Field at FAU Softball Stadium.
