Owls Held Down Against Utah Valley

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic men's soccer (1-2-1) was held off the board in a 1-0 defeat to Utah Valley (3-0-1) on Thursday night.
The Owls had 14 shot attempts compared to just three for Utah Valley, but it was the Wolverines who converted on their first attempt on goal in the 24th minute.
FAU continued to control the pace in the second half but could not find the equalizer. Oliver Moller-Jensen led the Owls with four shot attempts. Nacho Alfaro made one save in goal for the home side.
The Owls return to action next Friday, September 13, when the close out the four-game homestand against UNF.
