BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic volleyball team closes out its four-game season-opening homestand on Tuesday, Sept. 3, hosting rival FIU for a 6 p.m. first serve at Eleanor R. Baldwin Arena.
- Florida Atlantic is coming off a 2-1 weekend at the Florida Atlantic Invitational, earning a pair of sweeps against Seton Hall and Ball State but falling in five against Bryant.
- The Owls offense is led by Valeria Rosado, Katelynn Robine, Natalie Depaula, and Madison Dyer. Rosado leads the Owls, averaging 3.64 kills per set, while Robine, Depaula, and Dyer have tallied 3.27, 2.09, and 1.73 kills per set, respectively.
- Victoria Hensley is the Owls' assists leader, recording 110 assists, averaging 10.0 per set this season.
- The Owls back row is anchored by libero Isabelle Northam, who boasts a team-leading 4.18 digs per set, while Rosado ranks second on the team with 2.64 digs per set.
- Dyer and Maggie Allred lead the Owls at the net, recording 1.18 and 1.0 blocks per set, respectively.
- The FIU Panthers enter Tuesday's contest at 0-3 overall after falling in a trio of straight sets sweeps against UNI, Ohio State, and No. 22 Dayton.
- Offensively, the Panthers are led by Jillian Huckabey and Courtney O'Brien, averaging 3.0 and 2.0 kills per set, respectively.
- FIU's leading setter is Kaylee Musick, dishing out 61 assists, averaging 7.63 per set, through the Panthers' first three matches.
- The Panthers' back row is anchored by Mandi Morioka, who has tallied 37 digs, averaging 4.11 per set this season.
- At the net, FIU is led by Cameryn Jones, who tallied eight blocks, averaging 1.14 per set.

- The Owls will hit the road for the first time in 2024 on Friday & Saturday, Sept. 6-7, as they head to Lubbock, Texas, to compete in the Red Raider Classic against Green Bay, Northern Arizona, and host Texas Tech.
