Men’s Soccer Match with Stetson Suspended in the 53rd minute

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic men's soccer led Stetson 3-1 after 53 minutes on Thursday when the game was suspended due to lightning. The match may be resumed later in the season if both teams agree. No final decision was made on Thursday night. If at least 70 minutes are not completed, it's deemed a no-contest.

Before the suspension, Owls' senior striker Mamadou Diarra was enjoying a sensational home debut. Diarra scored all three FAU goals in the first half to record the Owls' first hat trick since September 2014.

Sebastian Zettl assisted on all three goals. Aboubacar Traore, Noah Kvifte, and Callum Frogson also registered assists.
