Owls and Bluejays Stalemate in Season Opener

OMAHA, Neb. – Florida Atlantic men's soccer opened the 2024 season with a scoreless draw against Creighton on Thursday night.
The Owls weathered an early storm from the Bluejays in the first 20 minutes. Goalkeeper Nacho Alfaro was sharp in his FAU debut. He would finish with four saves and a clean sheet. Offensively, the Owls had two shot attempts, but neither was on goal.
Florida Atlantic will complete its season-opening road trip on Sunday against the University of Nebraska Omaha. Kickoff is scheduled for 8 p.m. EST.
