BOCA RATON, Fla. – Malwina Rowinska will transfer to Florida Atlantic this August, joining a team that lost just one senior, returns six and are hungry to build upon their national ranking.
The Poland native will add experience to an Owls roster, bringing international pedigree as well as a strong resume against many of the nation's best while competing at the University of Florida.
Rowinska played in nearly 20 collegiate matches as a true freshman and worked in more than 30 doubles matches. She will join fellow FAU newcomer Lara Smejkal when classes begin in August.
The duo will join an Owls' team that returns four who posted double-digit wins, including rising sophomore Panna Bartha, who was named the American Athletic Conference Freshman of the Year, and rising senior Victoria Gomez O'Hayon, who led the Owls with 20 wins in 2023.

QUOTABLE
Director of Tennis Ricardo Gonzalez"I am super excited to welcome Malwina to our family. We have been tracking her progress since her junior career and we are pumped to help her in this new chapter of her life. Malwa has a lot of potential and still has a ton of room for improvement in her game, which is always exciting for a coach. I am confident that the best years are ahead of her, and excited to get to work and see how far she can go. The sky is the limit for Malwa. She has played tennis at the highest level of junior tennis by playing all the junior grand slams, which is a testament of her level of play on court. Now it's about the little details, and she has to continue to build and progress in many areas of her game in order to take her to the next level."RESUME
