JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic women's track & field team completed day one of the UNF Invitational on Friday.
In the final tune-up of the outdoor season before the American Athletic Championships, the Owls continued to post personal bests and top 10 program finishes.
- Anabell Reumann had another remarkable showing in the 3000m steeplechase. With a third place finish, she set a new personal best and now owns the third best time in program history (10:38.18)
- Jessica Hatch also recorded her personal best, now the sixth best time in FAU history (11:14.11)
- Promise Cross finished in 13th place out of 33 runners in the 400m hurdles (1:03.39)
- In a crowded field of 77 participants in the 1500m, Elyssa Toal led the way for the Owls with a 25th place finish (4:44.56), followed closely behind by Jordan Stevens in 27th (4:47.15)
- Leah Helms set a personal record in the 5000m (17:46.56), the ninth best time in school history, and finished in fourth place
