BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic Owls' women's tennis team, ranked No. 68 nationally, will welcome the addition of Lara Smejkal to the 2024-25 squad.
Smejkal, a current FAU student, joins the squad after compiling an impressive tennis resume. She will join a squad coming of their ninth winning season in the last 10 years, and a year that the Owls tallied the most consecutive wins, 11, in program history. FAU lost just one player to graduation and is poised to return five of the six singles positions, including four players who recorded double-digit dual match wins and four that ended their 2024 campaign with winning doubles records.
Director of Tennis Ricardo Gonzalez
