Owls Take 11th in Wilmington, Sturdza Records Top Five

WILMINGTON, N.C. – Florida Atlantic men's golf (+44) finished 11th at the UNCW Seahawk Intercollegiate on Monday. Individually, Max Sturdza (-1) finished solo fifth – his fifth Top 5 finish of the 2023-24. Auburn (+11) won the team competition. Campbell's Erik Johannson (-8) earned medalist honors by two shots over the next closest challenger.

- After an opening round 75 on Sunday, Sturdza posted back-to-back under par rounds of 69 and 71 to finish at -1. He circled six birdies in Monday's final round.
- Juan Delgado was the Owls' next lowest score at +11 in a tie for 39th. Delgado moved up six spots on the leaderboard on Monday with a round of 73 that included four birdies. Â
