Adams Named to AAC Weekly Honor Roll

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic second baseman Christian Adams has been named to the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll, the league announced on Monday.

Adams went 8-for-14 at the plate in the Owls' weekend sweep of Towson. He had multiple hits in each of the three games including his first home run of the season, a towering two-run shot, in the eighth inning on Friday night. The former standout at Royal Palm Beach HS also scored seven runs in the series.

Adams is now hitting .375 entering the Owls back-to-back midweek contests against UCF (Tuesday) and UNF (Wednesday). His nine total hits rank him tied for second on the team.
