Just like that, a knee injury during the third game of last year’s season took me out for the rest of the fall. It was a setback I never anticipated. Football has always been something my dad and I bonded over as he introduced me to the sport. He taught me never to give up and always have consistency. I thought of this as I pushed through therapy and recovery from my knee injury to prepare for this season.
My teammates continue to motivate me and support me like family. I am eager to be back on the field with these guys and I am excited to see what this year holds.
