CORAL GABLES, Fla. – Florida Atlantic women's golf (299-295—594) (+18) is in seventh place after day one at the Hurricane Invitational hosted by Miami. The final round gets underway with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday.

- Freshman Maddie Rathjen led the Owls with rounds of 74 and 75 on Monday. She sits in a tie for 26th at +5 entering the final round.
- Nancy Cox and Charlotte Perkins each signed for even par, 72s in round two. Perkins is tied for 31st while Cox is 47th.
- In between the two, Lena Hassert opened with 72 before backing up with a 78 in the second round.
- Giulia Scarcello made par on 28 of her 36 holes on Tuesday – tied for second-most in the field. After rounds 75 and 76, she's tied for 39th.
- Freshman Amelia Cobb is also tied for 39th, competing as an individual. Cobb's 72 in round two is the lowest round of her brief college career so far.
