BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic's swimming and diving teams have earned their second weekly award for the men, third overall for the 2024-25 season. Freshman
Isac Faxius has once again been named the ASUN Diver of the Week, announced by the conference office on Wednesday afternoon.
Competing in his first ever home competition against Keiser on Friday, Faxius tallied second-place finishes in both the 1m and 3m diving, totaling scores of 305.10 and 328.35.
Faxius was one of the key contributors in helping the Owls win their first home meet of the season. Faxius' performance in the 1m dive helped him crack the Florida Atlantic all-time top 10 for the men's 1m diving, now placing him 10th all time. Faxius' 3m diving score of 328.35 moves him up two spots on the all-time top 10 list from 10th to eighth Both diving scores this weekend were also personal bests overall for Faxius.
The Owls will host their annual Alumni and Family Meet, homecoming weekend, Saturday, Nov. 2. After that the Owls will get a much deserved break before heading on the road for the Patriot Invitational hosted by George Mason, Thursday Nov. 21 through Saturday Nov. 23.
