BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic women's basketball has a short turnaround this weekend as the Owls (5-13, 0-7 AAC) travel to Wichita, Kansas to face off against the Wichita State Shockers (6-14, 2-6 AAC) on Saturday, Jan. 27. Tipoff is set for 6 p.m. ET at Charles Koch Arena.
- Florida Atlantic enters Saturday's matchup at 5-13 overall and 0-7 in AAC play.
- As a team, the Owls' rank second in the AAC in fouls per game (14.8), fifth in 3-point percentage (.324), sixth in 3-pointers per game (6.1), and seventh in bench points per game (20.4).
- The Owls offense is led by Aniya Hubbard, Mya Perry, Jada Moore, and Janeta Rozentale. Hubbard boasts a team-leading 18.8 points per game. Perry is the Owls' 3-point shooting leader and has tallied a team second-best 12.5 points per game. Moore rounds out the Owls' double-figure scorers with 11.6 points per game, while Rozentale has delivered 9.7 points per contest this season.
- Devyn Scott leads the Owls in assists this season, dishing out 1.9 assists per game.
- Defensively, Rozentale has grabbed a team-leading 9.2 rebounds per game. Hubbard leads the Owls with a team-best 22 steals, grabbing 2.4 steals per game.
- Dyllan Hanna is the Owls' blocks leader, denying 0.9 shots per game this season.
- The Owls fell just short of completing a fourth-quarter comeback against the ECU Pirates on Thursday, falling 78-74.
- Aniya Hubbard led the Owls, tying for a game-high 30 points, marking a new career-high and her first career 30-point performance. Hubbard shot 9-of-13 from the field and a career-best 12-of-13 from the free throw line. She also narrowly missed a double-double with nine rebounds, in addition to four steals and three assists.
- Mya Perry also posted a double-digit performance, her 12th double-figure performance of the season. Perry turned in 12 points, shooting 4-of-13 from the field and 4-of-11 from 3-point range, and adding a rebound, an assist, and a steal.
- The Owls outscored the Pirates in the first quarter, 15-11, and fourth quarter, 27-21.
- Florida Atlantic also outshot ECU 45.3 percent to 39.7 percent from the field and 34.8 percent to 30 percent from 3-point range.
- The Owls also held a 38- 16 advantage in points off the bench and a 20-13 advantage in fastbreak points.
- Wichita State enters this weekend's matchup at 6-14 overall and 2-6 in league play.
- As a team, the Shockers rank third in the AAC in 3-point percentage defense (.274), fifth in offensive rebounds per game (12.9) and free throw attempts per game (19.25), sixth in bench points per game (21.9), and seventh in free throws made per game (12.7).
- The Shockers offense is led by Daniela Abies, Tre'Zure Jobe, and Salese Blow, who are averaging 12.7, 12.6, and 11.5 points per game, respectively.
- Jobe leads Wichita State in assists and steals leader, dishing out 2.9 assists and collecting 1.7 steals per contest.
- Abies is the Shockers leader on the boards, pulling down a team-leading 8.3 rebounds per game.

- Saturday will be the Owls first-ever meeting with the Shockers.
