BOWLING GREEN. Fla. – Florida Atlantic men's golf (-15) finished sixth at the Allstate Streamsong Invitational on Wednesday.
Max Sturdza (-13) fired his third consecutive round in the 60s to finish runner-up. Kennesaw State (-31) won the team competition while Lipscomb's Will Holan (-16) claimed individual medalist honors.
- Sturdza and Holan were the only two players in the 60-man field to shoot in the 60s in each round.
- Wednesday's round featured five birdies and one bogey for the Owls' Swiss-born senior.
- Sturdza finished the event with 16 birdies and just three bogeys in 54 holes.
- This is the fourth runner-up finish of his career.
- The Owls' pair of freshmen, NaShawn Tyson and Andres Atrio, finished tied for 20th and tied for 34th, respectively.
- Tyson recorded his third consecutive round of par or better with a one-under 72 that included four birdies.
- Atrio went on a run with three straight birdies at 12, 13, and 14 and eventually signed for 75.
