BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic men's soccer drew 0-0 with Marist on Friday night in the home opener. The Owls are 1-0-2 entering a two-game road trip to face Jacksonville and North Florida.

The Owls had two early opportunities in the first half, but
Sebastian Zettl's try was saved and minutes later
Victor Claudel's attempt to the far corner curled wide.

Marist out chanced the Owls 7-4 in the second half but senior goalkeeper
Rotem Fadida stood tall. Fadida finished the night with six saves and his first clean sheet of the season.

The Owls will head to Jacksonville next Friday to start a two-match non-conference road trip before AAC play begins. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
