BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic baseball completed a three-game sweep of FIU on Sunday with a 10-1 victory in the series finale.

The Owls were in control from the start on Sunday, picking up two runs in the opening inning. RBI singles from
Nolan Schanuel and
John Schroeder opened the scoring.

Mitchell Hartigan lined a three-run homer to the opposite field in the bottom of the third to put the Owls up 5-0.
Jackson Ross made it six with an RBI single in the fourth.
Nicholas Del Prado was in command on the mound, racking up six strikeouts in just four innings. The junior departed after four on a pitch count with two hits and no runs against.

Schanuel homered in the seventh (solo) and eighth (two-run) innings.
Robert Wegielnik pitched the final three innings to earn the save.

- Del Prado improved to 5-2 on the season.
- Braden Ostrander pitched a scoreless fifth inning.
- Tyler Murphy started the sixth and recorded the first out before being relieved by Wegielnik.
- Wegielnik allowed just one hit in 3.2 innings. He struck out four to earn his fourth save of the season.
- Schanuel finished 4-for-4 with four RBIs. He singled, doubled, and homered twice to extend his reached-base streak to an even 40 games.
- Ross went 3-for-5 with three runs scored and two driven in.
- Hartigan finished the four-game week with 10 RBIs.
- The Owls outscored FIU 31-8 in the series.
The Owls will not play a midweek game this week due to exams. They'll return to action in Charlotte on Friday for the start of a three-game series.
