Florida Atlantic closes out its two-game road trip Saturday at LA Tech

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic women's basketball (12-11, 5-9 C-USA) heads to Louisiana on Saturday, Feb. 11 to close out the Owls' two-game road trip at LA Tech (13-10, 6-7 C-USA). Tipoff is set for 3 p.m. ET at Thomas Assembly Center.
The Owls are led by Conference USA-leading freshman Aniya Hubbard, who ranks first among freshman and eighth in the conference in scoring with 14.0 points per game. Hubbard also leads C-USA in steals, collecting 61 this season, averaging 2.7 per contest. She is also the Owls' leader in assists, dishing out 2.4 per contest this season. Joiya Maddox and Janeta Rozentale round out the Owls top three scorers this season with 9.3 and 9.0 points per game, respectively. Rozentale leads FAU on the glass, posting 6.2 rebounds per game and tallying 16 blocked shots this season.
As a team, the Owls rank second in Conference USA in rebounding margin (4.7), rebounds per game (39.8), and free throw attempts per game (21.2), third in 3-point percentage defense (28.9), fourth in scoring defense (65.4), defensive rebounds per game (26.5), free throws made per game (14.5), and steals per game (8.5), and fifth in offensive rebounds per game (13.3) and fewest fouls per game (17.6).
