Gainesville, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University men's golf team will compete in the 46th VyStar Credit Union Gators Invitational beginning Saturday in Gainesville, Fla. Led by
Jake Hibbert's individual tie for fifth finish, the Owls placed seventh at their spring opener two weeks ago in Jacksonville. Â
Â
Mark Bostick Golf Course will play host as a par-70 at 6,701 yards. Contained within a 116-acre plot of land, the MBGC is short by today's golf standards. However, a $4 million renovation project in 2001 by Jacksonville-based architect Bobby Weed transformed the contour of the landscape, creating a course that is both physically and mentally challenging.

The field features 14 teams (including two from the host Florida) and 75 individuals...Â
