BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic women's basketball (0-1) continues its season-opening road trip on Monday as the Owls head to Jacksonville, Florida to take on the North Florida Ospreys. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. at UNF Arena and on ESPN+.
- The Owls opened the season this past Thursday, falling in a hard-fought 70-62 battle with the Mercer Bears.
- Aniya Hubbard led the Owls with an incredible performance, tying a career-best 28 points, shooting 56 percent (9-of-16) from the field, 60 percent (3-of-5) from 3-point range, and going 7-of-11 from the line. She also narrowly missed her first double-double of the season with nine rebounds, while also dishing out a pair of assists and grabbing a steal.
- Jada Moore also scored double-figures for the Owls, turning in 13 points on 67 percent (4-of-6) from the field and a team-leading 83 percent (5-of-6) from the line.
- Devyn Scott dished out a team-leading three assists, while Rose Caverly led the Owls in steals, grabbing two.
- Three Owls are within striking distance of scoring 1,000 career points.
- Rose Caverly sits just 10 points away from breaking the career milestone with 990 career points.
- Alexa Zaph is the second closest Owl to 1,000 career points, sitting at 851 career points and needing just 149 to break the milestone.
- Janeta Rozentale has scored 709 career points and needs 291 to surpass 1,000.
- Aniya Hubbard and Devyn Scott are the closest Owls to 500 career points.
- Hubbard is just 37 points away from breaking 500 career points, while Scott sits 99 points away from hitting 500 with 401 career points.
- Rose Caverly is also approaching 500 career rebounds and assists, currently with 466 rebounds and 466 assists.
- UNF is under first year head coach Erika Lambert and are 1-1 through their first two games of the 2023-24 season. The Ospreys opened the season with an 82-65 loss against Florida but broke the century mark in their second contest of the season, defeating Trinity Baptist, 116-44.
- Through their first two games, the Ospreys are led offensively by Alexa Washington and Lyric Swann, averaging 15.5 and 13.5 points per game. Washington is shooting .500, while Swann is averaging .435 clip.

- Javia Adams has dealt out a team-leading eight rebounds, while four Ospreys are tied for the team lead with four steals each.
- Kyla Cain and Emma Broermann are the only Ospreys to record a blocks so far this season.
- Florida Atlantic leads the all-time series between the Owls and the Ospreys, 6-3, however North Florida holds the advantage for contests played in Jacksonville, 3-1.
- Following Monday's contest, the Owls will return home for their home-opener on Friday, Nov. 17 as they host Chicago State for an 8 p.m. tip at Eleanor R. Baldwin Arena.
