GREENVILLE, N.C. – Florida Atlantic men's golf won the team title at the Ironwood Collegiate Classic in Greenville, N.C. on Tuesday. The Owls finished with a team total of 834 (-30) to win by seven shots over fellow AAC opponent and tournament hosts East Carolina. The victory marks the first under first-year head coach Adrien Mörk.
- The Owls entered the final round with a one shot lead and quickly added to it with fast starts from Max Sturdza and Juan Delgado.
- Sturdza went out in five-under with birdies at the fourth, sixth, seventh, eighth, and ninth holes.
- Delgado birdied four, five, and seven for a front-nine 34 (-2).
- Alex Maguire entered the final round in second place and after a slow start found his groove on the back nine.
- Maguire birdied the 11th, eagled the par-five 13th, and added another birdie at the 16th to post 71.
- Sturdza's 67 on Tuesday moved him two spots up the board into solo second, three shots behind medalist Lucas Augustsson from ECU (-15).
- Maguire (-11) tied for third while Delgado (-8) posted a career-best finish in solo sixth.
- The team victory was the program's 31st overall and first since the 2022 Bayou City Collegiate hosted by Rice.
