ATLANTA, Ga. – Florida Atlantic University's success on the diving board continued with another weekly award. Freshman
Trevor Kuhn has been named Atlantic Sun Diver of the Week, as announced by the conference on Tuesday.
Â
It is the first award of Kuhn's collegiate career and the third diving award for FAU during the 2023-24 season. An Owl diver has won a weekly honor after all three competitions they have competed in so far.Â
Â
The winner for this week was a no-brainer. Kuhn dominated in both the 1-meter and 3-meter dive, giving the Owls significant scoring during the their 184-47 win over Bellarmine.Â
Â
On the 3-meter, Kuhn posted a monster score of 339.00, giving him an A cut in the NCAA qualifying zones. On the 1-meter, his score of 256.73 was an improvement from his entry score by 7.43 points.Â
Kuhn and the rest of the divers will next compete at the University of Miami on Friday, Nov. 3.
