VERO BEACH, Fla. – Florida Atlantic men's golf will complete its fall season on Sunday and Monday at the Quail Valley Collegiate hosted by Michigan State. Though the Spartans are the official hosts, it may feel like more of a home game for the Owls as the event will be contested in nearby Vero Beach.
Â
36 holes will be played on Sunday followed by 18 on Monday. Both days will begin with a shotgun start at 8 a.m.
Â
The Owls' lineup will have a different look with regulars
Max Sturdza and
Alex Maguire away competing for their respective countries at the World Amateur Championship in Abu Dhabi.
- Jack Wehle will make his fourth appearance of the fall. His best finish so far is a tie for 23rd at the VCU Shootout.
- Kaleb Palm will be the only Owl to compete in all five fall events. He tied for 35th at the Ironwood Collegiate Classic two weeks ago.
- Juan Delgado finished solo sixth at the Ironwood Collegiate Classic. He'll play his third event of the fall this week.
- NaShawn Tyson returns after a one-week absence for his fourth fall event. The freshman carries a 72.33 scoring average.
- Andres Atrio will make his fourth appearance of the fall as well. His best finish so far was a tie for 34th at the Streamsong Invitational.
The field features 16 teams and 80 individual competitors. Memphis and USF are other AAC teams in the field.
