FAU Hosts North Texas in Key C-USA Clash

BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University men's basketball team is riding the nation's second-longest winning streak at 14 games. The Owls (15-1, 5-0 C-USA) will battle North Texas (14-3, 5-1 C-USA) with first place in Conference USA on the line on Saturday, Jan. 14.

These two teams met just 15 days ago, when the Owls took a low-scoring 50-46 victory in Denton. The Owls' defense limited the Mean Green to just 34% (18-of-53) shooting from the field and 13.6% (3-of-22) from 3-point range. Vladislav Goldin came up big for the Owls with his first career double-double at 11 points and a game-high 13 rebounds.

- The Owls trailed the Panthers, 59-50 with 7:26 remaining, but stormed back with a 16-7Â run to tie it up in regulation
