– The Florida Atlantic University men's and women's swim & dive teams are set to hit the water for the first time in 2023. The Owls travel to Gainesville on Friday to take on Florida. For the divers, it is their first chance to compete since the midseason Patriot Invitational.

FAU hosted the Fun Invite on Dec. 20. The women competed against Rice while the men raced amongst themselves.

- Alec Peckmann won both the 100 IM (51.25) and 50 free (21.13)
- Jackson Kirk finished in first the 200 Yard (1:44.5)
- Max Ahumada narrowly beat Luke Beals in the 100 back, with times of 54.29 and 54.31, respectively
- David Arneskov placed in first place out of eight Owls in the 100 free (46.68) and won the 100 fly (50.64)
- Timo Paisley was the winner of the 500 free (4:47.28)Â
Senior day is next, as 13 Owls are set to be honored in the team's final home meet of the season on Saturday, Jan. 21. against St. Thomas
