Raisanen Earns Nod to AAC Weekly Honor Roll

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic University freshman forward Andreas Raisanen has been named to the American Athletic Conference (AAC) weekly honor roll after his performance in Saturday's win over UAB.

Raisanen delivered in the clutch in the 1-0 victory scoring in the 80th minute on a cross through the six-yard box from Zach Hassell. It was the Swede's first career goal, and it clinched the Owls' first AAC victory not just in program history but in school history as well.

Raisanen joins Memphis' Lineker Rodrigues dos Santos, USF's Brian Schaefer, SMU's Nikola Djordjevic, and Tulsa's Malik Henry-Scott on this week's honor roll. SMU's Knut Ahlander was named Offensive Player of the Week.
