Sandy Owls Sent Off to NCAA Championships

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic University athletics staff, coaches and student-athletes sent off the 19 student-athletes, three coaches and support staff members of the beach volleyball team to the NCAA Championships Monday morning. The Owls are making their first tournament appearance in program history in just the sixth ever NCAA Beach Volleyball Championships. As the No. 8 seed, FAU is set to face No. 9-seeded Stanford on Wednesday at 10 a.m. Eastern with the match being broadcast on ESPNU.
