Beach Volleyball Earns No. 1 Seed

BOCA RATON, Fla. – The 10th-ranked Florida Atlantic University beach volleyball team (21-8, 7-1 in Conference USA) earned the No. 1 seed for the C-USA Beach Volleyball Championship next weekend. In C-USA's inaugural season of sponsoring beach volleyball, this year's championships, hosted in conjunction with the Coastal Collegiate Sports Association at John Hunt Park in Huntsville, Alabama.

With the No. 1 seed, FAU earns a first-round bye and will play the winner of No. 4-seeded UAB vs. No. 5-seeded Coastal Carolina. The match is set to begin on Thursday, April 28 at 2:30 p.m. Eastern.
