BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic University women's tennis (5-6) beat Missouri (5-7) 4-3 in a neutral site match Sunday.
The two schools played in a clinch format and began with singles play first. After six matches, the score was tied at 3-3 and doubles was then used as the matches' decider. FAU won on courts one and two and was up 5-4 on court three but was not finished with the point already clinched.

"I am so impressed with our team and how quickly we are progressing," said Ricardo Gonzalez, FAU's director of tennis. "Today was one of the best college matches I have been a part of. Our girls showed a lot of grit and toughness once again. We competed as a unit and left it all out there. Our girls really deserved this one and I couldn't be happier for this group of young women. They are fighting so hard for each other and I'm sure this is just the beginning for this young group."The Results
