Owls Fall in Second Kansas Match

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic University women's tennis (3-6) fell to Kansas State (4-1) by a 4-0 margin, on Saturday afternoon in Manhattan, Kansas. It was the team's eighth contest on the road compared to just one at home. They will play three more matches away from "Paradise" before their next home match.
The doubles point was the first to be decided with losses on courts two and three. Court one's match was not completed.
The Owls then began play on courts two, four and six. With FAU losses on four and six and a battle on court two, play began on court one. As the battle waged on, the Owls dropped the match on court one giving Kansas State the best-of-seven win.
