Jarman and Cangelosi tabbed C-USA November Pair of the Month

Honor marks second for Jarman and first for Cangelosi
DALLAS – Christine Jarman and Jillienne Cangelosi were named C-USA Beach Volleyball Pair of the Month for the month of November, after a solid showing at the inaugural AVCA Fall Collegiate Beach Championships, announced by the league office on Wednesday.
The honor marks the second-straight Pair of the Month accolade for the Owls, back-to-back awards for Jarman, and the first of the season for Cangelosi.
Jarman and Cangelosi competed in the AVCA Fall Collegiate Beach Championships, earning three wins for a 5th-place finish in the 25th bracket in Huntsville. The duo opened the tournament on Friday with a 2-0 win, (21-11, 21-19) over No. 58 Sadie Sharkey and Grace Sistrunk of UNCW and followed it up with their second 2-0 win of opening day (21-14, 22-20), defeating No. 39 Cal Poly's Piper Ferch and Mariah Whalen. On Saturday the duo advanced to the 25th bracket, earning their third victory of the weekend against No. 49 Charleston's Ella Reames and Kyra Thompson, 2-1, before ultimately falling against No. 34 Coastal Carolina's Irena Drobnjak and Ellie Hanford, (27-29, 19-21) to place fifth in the bracket.
