Owls complete play in inaugural AVCA Fall Championships

Huntsville, Ala. – Florida Atlantic beach volleyball competed in the inaugural AVCA Fall Collegiate Beach Championship over the weekend at John Hunt Park Sand Volleyball Complex in Huntsville, Alabama.
On Friday, Cangelosi and Jarman opened the day with a 2-0 win, (21-11, 21-19) over Sadie Sharkey and Grace Sistrunk UNCW and then followed it up with their second 2-0 win of the day (21-14, 22-20) against Cal Poly's Piper Ferch and Mariah Whalen. The duo advanced to the 25th bracket, ultimately falling against Coastal Carolina's Irena Drobnjak and Ellie Hanford, (27-29, 19-21) to place fifth in the bracket.
