BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic beach volleyball team is heading to Huntsville, Alabama for the inaugural AVCA Fall Collegiate Beach Championships on Friday, Nov. 4 through Sunday, Nov. 6 at John Hunt Park Sand Volleyball Complex. Pool play begins on Friday starting at 10 a.m. ET.

The Owls will have two competing pairs during the championships. FAU is one of just three programs that has two pairs seeded in the top-10 out of a field of 64 pairs.
Jillienne Cangelosi and
Christine Jarman are the Owls' top-seeded pair at No. 7, while
Ellie Austin and
Courtney Moon round out FAU's field at No. 10.
Cangelosi and Jarman will compete in pool 7, opening up the day against No. 58 Sadie Sharkey and Grace Sistrunk of UNCW at 10 a.m. ET. The pair will get back to action at 1 p.m. ET against Cal Poly's No. 38-seeded Piper Ferch and Mariah Whalen, before closing out the day against No. 26 Parker Bracken and Grace Seits of LSU at 4 p.m. ET.
Austin and Moon will compete in pool 10 and will begin competition at 10 a.m. ET against No. 55 Abby Russell and Hope Shannon of Arizona, before playing their second match at 1 p.m. ET against Stanford's No. 42-seeded Charlie Ekstrom and Kate Reilly. The duo will then close out their opening day of competition at 4 p.m. ET against No. 23 Gabrielle Bramante and Audrey Gauthier of Stetson.
