BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University men's and women's swimming & diving teams are set to compete in the TYR Fall Classic this weekend, hosted by FIU. Day one of the meet will begin Friday at 5 p.m. followed by day two beginning Saturday at 10 a.m.

Last Time Out

Men

In the team's previous meet against Indian River State, Dalton Lillibridge tallied two individual first place finishes in the 100 breast (56.08) and 200 breast (2:05.94)
Alec Peckmann followed close behind in the 100 breast, finishing in second place with a time of 56.38. Peckmann also won the gold in the 200 IM (1:52.30)
Ratteb Hussein (1:54.05) and Cristoffer Weiss (1:54.13) captured first and second, respectively, in the 200 fly
Logan Thornsberry earned the win in the 200 free (1:41.43)
FAU's men's A team (Max Ahumada, Hussein, Jackson Kirk, Lillibridge) earned first place in the 200 medley relay (1:32.50)
On the diving side, Brandon Shepherd finished in fourth place in the 3-meter dive (261.44) and fifth in the 1-meter (232.20)
Lillibridge and Shepherd swept the weekly CCSA Swimmer & Diver of the Week awards as a result of their performance

Women

The women's side defeated Indian River 154-144
Amelia Robertson won the 100 back (57.22) and 200 back (2:03.23)
The team swept both the 100 back and 200 back. In the 100 back, Roberta Circi (57.99) and Riley Trout (59.30) following Robertson in second and third, respectively, while Circi (2:04.09) and Megan Drover-Smith (2:06.17) followed Robertson in the 200 back.
Avery Floyd earned the victory in the 200 breast (2:24.09)
Dolores Margni captured first place in the 200 butterfly (2:03.81)
Trinity McNall placed first in both the 1-meter dive (266.84) and 3-meter (265.80)

The Owls will next host the Alumni & Family Meet for Homecoming weekend on Oct. 15 at 11 a.m.
