Kudelova Is Perfect in 2022

BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University women's tennis team completed the 2022 season opening tournament with a 5-2 loss to Minnesota, Monday morning.
The Owls dropped the doubles point and quickly moved to singles play. Redshirt junior Martina Kudelova relied upon her experience to capture court No. 1, using a second-set tiebreaker to take the match 6-3, 7-6 (6).
On court three, freshman Lexi Silna disposed of her opponent 6-4, 6-3 to give FAU the 5-2 final.
FAU will return home holding a 2-1 record, after winning the first two matches of the season, both played on Saturday.
"We fought hard. We still need to clean up a few things in our games, but we are taking steps in the right direction. Credit to Minnesota. They have a great team and played tough in the big moments."
