Soccer Opens Up C-USA Play at Coastal Carolina

BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University men's soccer team (4-1, 0-0-0 Conference USA) is coming off a momentous win last week and hopes to carry that energy into Tuesday night, as the team faces Coastal Carolina (2-1-3, 1-0-3 C-USA). This match marks the first time the Owls and Chanticleers will go head-to-head as C-USA opponents. First touch for the Owls' C-USA opener is set for 7 p.m. at the CCU Soccer Stadium.

About the Owls
- The Owls take on a road test for the first time since late August, coming into Tuesday's match with a 4-1 mark

- Alvaro Garcia-Pasqual has been a threat for CCU, tallying four goals and one assist for nine points to lead the team

- Joey Batrouni and Leon Schmidt have seen time in goal. Batrouni (1-1-2) has tallied six starts, a 0.83 goals against average and 23 saves, while Schmidt (1-0-1) has played in three games and has recorded a 1.16 GAA and 0.750 save percentage
