Brok, Morris End Season With Another Top Award

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic University's Erica Brok and Mackenzie Morris earned AVCA Top Flight honors, the organization announced Tuesday. This is Brok and Morris' second career Top Flight award, as they earned Flight 2 honors in 2019 for finishing 16-5.
To become an AVCA Top Flight, pairs must compete in a specific flight for at least 15 matches and win at least 75 percent of them.
Brok and Morris, who earned 2021 All-Conference honors, went 18-5 this season to reach 71 career wins. That's the most wins by a pair in team history and more than double the second-ranked pair's 31. Brok (72) and Morris (71) also rank first and second all-time, respectively, in wins by FAU individuals.
"These two sure are something special!" said FAU coach Capri Grotowski, who led the Owls to their first ever CCSA Championship in 2021. "Well deserved! Looking forward to next year. We always think they are at their best, but they continuously prove us wrong. Great players, leaders and humans!"
