CCSA Championship Schedule Set

BOCA RATON, Fla. – The 14th-ranked Florida Atlantic University beach volleyball team will begin the CCSA Championship in Huntsville, Alabama on Friday.
A member of the CCSA Championship's blue bracket, FAU is the No. 2 seed among a group consisting of Georgia State, FIU, UAB, Southern Miss and ULM.
"We are excited and ready for all five seeds to play their best," FAU coach Capri Grotowski said. "We have won at all five seeds multiple times, just not altogether. Once this happens it will be smooth sailing, looking forward to being on that boat at the right time...like this weekend. Go Owls."
FAU will play the winner of Match Two between the No. 3-seeded FIU and the No. 6-seeded ULM at 1:30 p.m. on Friday. Should FAU win that game, it would move onto Match Seven, pitting it against the No. 1-seeded Georgia State, the No. 4-seeded UAB or the No. 5-seeded Southern Miss on Saturday at noon. Â A win in Match Seven would send FAU to the CCSA Championship game at noon on Sunday. All times are central.
