BATON ROUGE, La. – Erica Brok and
Mackenzie Morris stood out for the 11

FAU's court-one pair of Brok and Morris snagged consecutive two-set victories over Houston Baptist and FSU, but only one of those efforts came with a team victory. The Owls swept HBU in their first match of the day, but Brok and Morris earned the team's only pair victory against No. 2 FSU.
The Owls are now 4-4 after starting the season 3-1.

Erica Brok and
Mackenzie Morris collected their second consecutive two-set win against FSU, but that wasn't enough to lift FAU to victory. On courts two, three, four and five, the Owls lost in two sets. FAU's losing pairs battled hard, though, as all scored above 15 in their second sets.
