BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic University volleyball (1-8, 1-8 Conference USA) will be on the road this weekend, their final regular-season road contest of the spring, when the Owls travel to Huntington, West Virginia to face Marshall (6-4, 4-4 C-USA). The two teams will square off on Sunday and Monday with first serve scheduled for noon on both days.

Thus Far
As the Owls play through their 2021 spring season, several players are accepting the challenge of developing more quickly. In last Sunday's match, freshman Anaya Harvey had a season-high 17 total attempts and she made good on eight for an attack percentage of .353. Freshman Halle Olson had a career night with 11 kills versus Charlotte on Sunday. In the middle, Nikola Bartecka, who joined the squad in January, continues to provide blocking presence with three blocks on Sunday and an additional block on Monday. Her number was called 15 times in the first Charlotte match and she made good on 11 of those attempts for an attack percentage of .600. On Monday, Bartecka added two kills in nine attempts. A freshman, MiaBella English leads the Owls' offense. English has tallied 176 assists, averaging 4.89 per set.

The Leaders
Scherine Dahoue leads the Owls with 3.649 kills per set while Camryn Vogler has tallied 2.93. English has 176 assists. Stephanie Young is second on the squad with 143 assists and has 1.98 kills per set
