LAS VEGAS – In a Las Vegas weekend that saw the Florida Atlantic University women's tennis team (3-1) capture three wins, junior May Kimhi moved to 3-0 on the season and provided the match-clinching point over Youngstown State on Sunday.

"A win is a win and even more so when you aren't playing at your best," said Caroline Wheelen, FAU's head coach. "We've taken notes. We have a game plan to take their games to the next level in the upcoming week and heading into tough weekend matches. The girls adapted well to the climate and the courts. Many of them found out that they can dig deep mentally."

The Owls dropped their first doubles point of the weekend to Youngstown State, moving into singles play down 1-0. Natalia Boltinskaya dispensed of her court one opponent in straight sets, 6-2, 6-1. Martina Kudelova followed at No. 2 in similar fashion with a 6-1, 6-3 win. The middle of the lineup was on the verge of closing out their matches when Louie McLelland and Kimhi recorded points three and four, respectively. Kimhi grabbed her second match-clinching point in as many days.
