BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University women's golf team is now slated to participate in one of the sport's most prestigious tournaments.
From Feb. 14-16, this Sunday through Tuesday, the Owls will play alongside six top-15 teams at the Moon Golf Invitational. Louisville is hosting the 17-team tournament at the Duran Golf Club in Melbourne, Florida. This tournament replaces one FAU previously had scheduled, the Mercer-hosted Reynolds Lake Oconee Invitational in Eatonton, Georgia.
This year's standout Moon Golf Invitational participants include No. 3 South Carolina, No. 5 Virginia, No. 11 Auburn, No. 12 Arkansas, No. 13 Florida, No. 15 Miami, No. 16 Oklahoma, No. 21 FGCU, No. 29 Alabama and No. 31 UCF. The other teams participating are Augusta, Coastal Carolina, Florida State, Illinois, LSU and UNC.

The Owls are coming off a sixth-place finish at the FAU Paradise Invitational, which they hosted at Boca Lago Country Club.
Justine Fournand (12th) and
Arielle Keating (T13) carded top-15 finishes with a 217 and 218, respectively.
