BOCA RATON, Fla. – The penultimate fall tournament for Florida Atlantic University women's golf is also the first of two hosted events this year for the squad. On Monday and Tuesday is the Jupiter Women's Invitational, to be held at PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie.
Â
The two-day, 54-hole event will be played on the club's Ryder Course, which is Par-71, 6,011 yards. Monday's first two rounds begin with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start, with Tuesday's tee times – for the 18-hole finale – based on Monday's scores.
Â
The Owls are coming off a team and individual combo win at UAB's Hoover Invitational two weeks ago. It was a 10-stroke team victory, and
Letizia Bagnoli took her second medalist honor in as many events, by seven shots over the tourney runner-up. She also earned her second consecutive Conference USA Women's Golfer of the Week award in the process, with her showing including a program- and course-record final round.
Â
This will be a 10-team tournament field, along with seven individuals, for a total of 55 golfers participating (
HERE is the Monday hole assignments):
