Swimming & Diving to Host Alumni and Parents' Weekend

BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University swimming & diving program will hold its seventh annual Alumni and Parents' Weekend as part of the university's Homecoming Weekend.
After a one-year hiatus in 2020, the Owls are looking forward to welcoming alums and parents to FAU. On Saturday, the alums will get to swim against the current Owls in the pool and put them to the test in an always-exciting FAU tradition.
"After missing out on this event last year, we are looking forward to welcoming our ever-growing group of alums back on campus," FAU head swimming & diving coach Lara Preacco said. "Once an Owl, always an Owl!"
The alums and the current Owls will compete on Saturday with the meet beginning at 11:00 a.m. Warm-ups are scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m. In the evening, the Owls will head over to Howard Schnellenberger Field to support FAU football against UTEP, starting at 6:00 p.m.
Full Weekend Schedule:
Friday: 5p.m.-7p.m. Dinner at Sandbar Delray
Saturday:
10:30 a.m. Warm-upÂ
11:00 a.m. Alumni vs. Varsity
1:30 p.m.- 3:30 p.m. Lunch at Beirgarten Boca
6 p.m.- FAU vs UTEP footballÂ
