Women’s Basketball’s Primm Inks Pro Contract

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic University women's basketball alumna Crystal Primm has signed a professional contract with Iraurgi Saski Boloia in Spain to continue her basketball playing career overseas.
"I feel beyond blessed to be able to continue my career and play professionally," said Primm. "It has been a goal of mine for as long as I can remember. Honestly, I'm excited to keep improving as a player and see where my career takes me!"
Primm joined the Owls for the 2019-20 season as a graduate transfer. The West Palm Beach, Florida native led FAU in scoring (15.4 points per game) and rebounding (8.0 rebounds per game), while being one of five players in Conference USA to sit in the top 10 in both statistical categories. Primm was tabbed to the C-USA Second Team and was recognized as C-USA Player of the Week, a first for head coach Jim Jabir while being at the helm of the program. The guard also ranked seventh in free throw attempts (214) and 29th in makes (137) in the NCAA. Primm tallied her 1,000th career point at the end of this season, tallying 15 points, along with a career-high 18 rebounds and six assists, on her Senior Day.

The women's basketball team is back on campus to prepare for the 2020-21 season and Jabir's fourth season as head coach.
