BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University men's soccer team will hold open tryouts on Monday, Oct. 12 at the Boca Raton campus. All individuals interested in trying out must be a full-time student at FAU.
A doctor's appointment is mandatory in completing the process. Additionally, all participants are required to have a negative COVID-19 test within two weeks of the tryout, as well as a sickle cell test with proof of results. Those interested in trying out must complete the following steps.
1.
Fill out necessary forms. The tryout/walk-on paperwork is available
here.
2.
Obtain clearance from the FAU athletic training staff. After the first step is completed, take the completed forms to the FAU training room located on the first floor of the Tom Oxley Center.
3.
Receive clearance from the FAU compliance office. After an FAU athletic trainer signs off on the forms, take the finished sheets to the compliance office located on the fourth floor of the FAU Football Stadium. The staff will review your forms and give you the clear to tryout if all of the requirements are satisfied.

The tryouts will be held on the FAU training field (777 Glades Rd) at 11 a.m. We ask you wear a mask and bring proper soccer attire, such as soccer cleats, shin guards and training gear to the tryout.
