BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Atlantic Sun Conference continued its series of announcements of All-Decade Teams on Monday morning with the release of men's tennis honorees spanning 2001-10. Representing Florida Atlantic University is former Owl star Doug Devriendt.

Devriendt, a native of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, helped lead the Owls to the 2001 ASUN Championship, the program's only title while members of that league. He was tabbed as that season's ASUN Player of the Year, going 16-3 in dual match singles in the No. 1 spot, and was twice a member of the league's All-Conference First Team, in both 2001 and 2002. He wrapped his FAU career with 73 singles victories, which stood as the program's all-time record until he was surpassed by Marc Abdelnour in 2011.
